In February 2019, an agreement was signed in Dubai, which provides for the possibility for tourists from Russia to receive a single-entry tourist visa immediately upon arrival free of charge and to extend its validity. .

A long transfer between connecting flights will allow you to spend several days in the United Arab Emirates and get to know the developing resort.

Without a visa, Russians can stay 90 days in the country

When crossing the border of the state, all tourists undergo a retinal scan. It is worth treating such a procedure with understanding, it is simple and painless, and is performed for the sake of the safety of all arriving in the country.

Required documents for obtaining a single entry visa

To obtain a UAE visa at the airport, a foreign passport is required, it must be valid for at least 6 months after the end of the trip. Russians no longer need any documents to enter the country in 2020.

Entry rules with children

If you are traveling with children, make sure you have a separate passport for each child before the start of the tour.

Please note that it is not possible to issue on arrival if they are inscribed in your international passport. In this case, a visa will have to be obtained in advance.

When parents have different surnames, you must bring the child's birth certificate translated into English. And if children are accompanied by third parties (aunts, uncles) or one of the parents, you need to prepare a package of documents. You should take:

In the case when the place of your birth according to the passport is one of the countries of the Middle East, you need to have a copy with you, and preferably the original of the birth certificate. The document must be translated into English or Arabic and notarized.

When visiting the United Arab Emirates, girls under 30 should preferably be in the country only accompanied by an adult male (husband or brother).

You can also have permission from your parents, previously certified by a notary, as well as documents confirming solvency.

Recently, no one has been looking at these instructions, and girls can also go on vacation.

Extension of a visa

If there is a desire to increase your vacation in the UAE by a few days or weeks, be sure to extend your visa. An extension of another 30 calendar days is allowed. When contacting the migration service, you should go through the procedure for filling out an application, in which you need to indicate the extension period and the personal number received when applying for a primary visa.

Registration cost

Next, you pay the fee. It will cost 550-625 AED. You will be stamped again, and you can continue your vacation. Staying in the Emirates for more than 60 days implies issuing a multiple-entry visa in the usual manner, in advance of the trip. And do not forget that every tourist is responsible for non-compliance with the terms of stay in the country.

Penalty for late departure from the country

In a situation where entry into the UAE occurs on a valid visa, but there is no departure within the acceptable time frame, a fine of more than $ 2,000 is provided. Further, each day of delay will be estimated at 40-45 dollars.

If it is not possible to establish the exact place of stay of a citizen who overstayed a visa, the fine is paid by the one who was the guarantor, that is, relatives, a travel company.

In addition, non-compliance with the rules of the visa regime in the future threatens with a ban on re-visiting the United Arab Emirates.

Refusal to issue a visa

Despite the simplified version of issuing a single-entry tourist visa to Russians right at the airport, entry denials are also possible. The final decision always remains with the representative of the migration service. The reason for your refusal to enter the country may be a serious violation of its laws and visa regulations during previous trips.

Please note that deportation from the country also occurs at the expense of the tourist. In rare cases, the airline may go forward and put the passenger on the next flight, subject to availability.

Is it possible to completely abolish the visa regime?

There is no talk yet about the complete abolition of the visa regime between the two countries. Reducing the costs of processing documents for tourist trips to the UAE, the development of business and educational ties between Russia and the United Arab Emirates are the topics of future negotiations.

However, the introduction of a free single entry visa for 60 days is already having a positive effect on the influx of Russian tourists to the country of luxurious skyscrapers and hot sun.

  1. Check the information about your flight on the information board and go to the check-in desks, the numbers of which are indicated on the board. Please present your passport and ticket when checking in.
  2. After checking in and announcing the start of boarding, you must go to the appropriate areas for international flights.

Passengers of international flights go through customs, passport control, as well as security control, after which they await the departure of the flight in the sterile zone of the gallery of international airlines. Passport and boarding pass are presented at the checkpoint.

When transporting animals or plants, it is necessary to pass phytocontrol / veterinary control.

Singapore Migration Card is a mandatory document for all tourists (including children) who arrive in Singapore and go through passport control. The full name of the Singapore migration card is Disembarkation/Embarkation form for visitors (arrival/departure form for visitors). The card is a rectangular sheet, one side of which is intended for filling, on the other side are written:
