Soon the time for vacations and vacations will begin. You need to think in advance about how and where to spend them to the maximum benefit. The best resorts for families with children are very close by. Sunny Bulgaria has always been and remains a fertile land for tourists.

Not a single story, not a single video can fully describe the beauty of this region. Here hotels are always hospitably open for children and their parents on the coast, and in the mountains for lovers of skiing. Let's try to list all the reasons why it is best to relax with a child here.

How to choose a resort

Going on vacation with a child less than 1 year old or older, an adult needs to make sure that the trip becomes joyful for everyone. Particularly responsible it is necessary to approach the choice of place and time. If with food you can correct something on the spot, buy, cook, and you can somehow compensate for the lack of entertainment, then the climate and weather are beyond your control.

In the same way, it will be impossible to change the terrain and the location of the home where you will spend your time. These points must also be carefully calculated. For example, for a child of 2 years old, a clean sandy beach with a gentle entrance to the sea will be very relevant.

A road with several changes and a duration of several days can also spoil any vacation. This is another important nuance that must be taken into account.

The next most important selection criteria will be hotel amenities and leisure. Please note that the hotel where you are going to have the opportunity to provide:

  • extra crib;
  • meals, bottle warmers and strollers;
  • kids club;
  • children's menu;
  • playground
  • children's animation;
  • babysitter and nursery for babies up to a year.

All this is far from necessary, but it is very desirable to have it in your chosen hotel.

The climate of Bulgaria

This small country has gathered all types of relief within its borders:

Accordingly, the weather here cannot be the same. If in the mountains in winter the temperature drops to -30 ° C with two-meter snowdrifts and bright sun, then in the coastal areas it balances in the zero area. All year high ridges reliably protect coastal resorts from cold European winds.
Due to this, the climate, in contrast to the continental, on the coast and in the south of the country is mild Mediterranean. There are no strong daily temperature drops, and by the end of the summer the sea warms up to 23 degrees. The weather in the summer months on the coast resembles the Crimean one: 23-30 ° C during the day, 12-15 ° C at night. The most gentle temperature for babies lasts from mid-May to the end of June or the last month of summer and the first month of autumn. However, in May-June the sea is still cool, and you will have to swim only in the pools. Therefore, when they ask: “Advise, tell me when it is better to book hotels with children in Bulgaria”, there is only one answer - in August-September.

Road

By plane from Moscow to one of the four airports (Sofia, Varna, Plovdiv, Burgas) fly only 2-3 hours. But this is only a flight. When going on a trip with children, it is better to find a route in which the least number of transfers. The proximity of our countries allows you to choose one of the possible ways of transportation or to combine them:

To cross the border you need a visa (Schengen or national). There is also a ban and restrictions on the import of certain items and products. You must first clarify the list and the amount of the limit.

When choosing a hotel in Bulgaria for a holiday with a child, be sure to specify all the distances that you have to overcome.

  • The road from the airport or train station to the hotel is sometimes harder and longer than the flight itself. Of great importance and a huge plus is the availability of your own transfer to the hotel. You must ask about this before your trip.
  • Distance to the beach. You will have to overcome it at least twice a day. It’s great if the hotel has its own beach right under the windows of rooms. But sometimes low-cost economy hotels 2 lines are more attractive than expensive premium, providing regular transport on which you can drive for a couple of minutes for a nice sandy beach and back.
  • Going on vacation with a teenager, look at the forum or on our website for reviews about hotels, nearby attractions, entertainment centers, excursions, as well as remoteness from objects of interest to the child (water parks, amusement parks, disneyland, etc.).

It's better here

Already more than one generation of Russians has chosen Bulgaria as a place of rest with children. If you at least once on the advice or accidentally got here, then you will definitely come back again.

Perhaps that is why many people prefer walking barefoot along the sea coast, and in the afternoon, not everyone uses a sunbed, enjoying the warmth of quartz. A balneological treatment center operates on the basis of a local hydrogen sulfide source.

Resorts in Bulgaria: Resort Ahtopol, Bulgaria

Ahtopol is an inexpensive quiet resort near the border with Turkey. The sunniest place in Bulgaria. Here is the largest number of sunny days per year.

Ahtopol is the sunniest and warmest resort in Bulgaria. Locals appreciate it for the lack of crowds of foreign tourists, low prices and a favorable climate, and the country's guests for its favorable geographical position: from Ahtopol you can easily get to any village in Bulgaria and Turkey.

Bulgaria attracts tourists from Russia for several reasons at once: the relatively low cost of accommodation and meals, the lack of a language barrier, the choice between a hotel and apartments. If the trip is planned with children, the flight range and the absence of abrupt climate change are of no small importance. In that, with the child, and at the same time to enjoy the vacation ourselves, we will try to figure it out.

What is special about holidays with children

Probably one of the most important moments when looking for a place to stay with a child is the opportunity to fully relax. In this case, it implies the presence of conditions for a comfortable sleep, including in the daytime. That is, noisy resorts with night discos are an option that is far from optimal. Often, asking where it is better to relax in Bulgaria with a child, and what all, you can hear two names: Golden Sands and Sunny Beach. Yes, these are the most popular resorts in the country, but for families with children the options are rather dubious for the reason already mentioned above.

It is also worth noting that you want to spend your vacation closer to nature, but at the same time in the most comfortable living conditions. Therefore, the second important point is the availability of the necessary infrastructure, starting from shops where you can buy what is needed for a child, and ending with the possibility of receiving medical care if it is needed.

And the third important factor is the organization of leisure activities that are interesting for both children and adults. Therefore, the ideal place to spend a vacation with children is a place that combines all of the above.

Well, an additional plus, if you think about where it is better to relax in Bulgaria with a child, especially a small one, will be the possibility of self-cooking for the baby. However, this is nothing complicated: on all coasts of the country there are a sufficient number of apart hotels and hotels offering this type of room.

with child

Conventionally, Bulgaria is divided into northern and southern. Severnoe is known primarily due to its Golden Sands resort mentioned above. But from the point of view of where it is better to relax in Bulgaria with a child, this option cannot be recognized as the best. In search of a calm and tranquil place, with beaches not filled to capacity, a vacation spot located nevertheless close to civilization, it makes sense to turn your attention to the southern coast of the country. In this part, a lot of young resorts appeared, located not far from Sunny Beach, but allowing you to organize a quality vacation. I would like to dwell on some of them in more detail.

The actively developing city of St. Vlas is located just a few kilometers north of the already mentioned Sunny Beach. It is notable for the fact that most of the resort hotels were built after 2000 and meet modern requirements. The central beach received for its cleanliness. In addition, visiting Burgas (the distance to it is less than 50 kilometers, the airport is located there), where you can find something interesting for yourself and for the child, will not be tiring.

Fans of secluded relaxation will like a place called Elenite. The resort is located next to St. Vlas. The distances are ridiculous, so solitude will not be equated with isolation from the outside world.

A little south of Sunny Beach is Nessebar. The city will be interesting to those who are interested in history. Walking on it will bring real pleasure. At the same time, and small distances allow you to diversify your vacation by visiting nearby cities and villages.

Behind Nessebar, if you look in the direction from north to south, there is Ravda - a resort village that has everything you need for an excellent holiday.

Thinking about where to relax in Bulgaria, it is worth considering the resort of Pomorie, which is located halfway from Sunny Beach to Burgas, as well as Sozopol, located south. But for those who are used to relaxing luxuriously, it makes sense to turn their attention to the Dunes. As you can see, Bulgaria has something to offer even the most demanding vacationers.

Are you planning a vacation with children in Bulgaria? Do not know which resort and hotel to choose for families with children? What to bring with you? What should be in a children's first-aid kit? You have a flight to Bulgaria with a child or children? Is all-inclusive good for families with children?

If you are worried about all these questions, welcome to my review! I hope he will be useful to someone.

All of us have a different attitude to planning a vacation and buying a ticket. Someone comes to the tour agency and pokes a finger at the picture they like, someone relies in their choice on the preferences and tastes of the agent, but there are people like me.

Daughter in the fall had to go to a nursery, for immunity this is a huge test, a test of strength. And at the beginning of summer I woke up and decided that it, and it wouldn’t hurt me, was necessary to bring it to the sea in front of the garden and make it healthy, strengthen and dispel. Due to the limited budget and the inaccessibility of the cheap and adored Crimea, the choice was made in favor of Bulgaria. Naturally, we did not get on early booking and had to choose options from what was left. In 2016, due to political turmoil in the eastern directions and the general crisis, Bulgaria became very popular and I could not load it at all. Well, the prices were appropriate!

Plan your vacation in Bulgaria in advance, if possible. Early booking can save you a ton of money!

In general, of course, that would go to Bulgaria with a small child in high season need to be a little desperate!

The first thing you need to know for parents who want to go there with their kids is the great danger of contracting a very severe rotavirus infection!

Of course, no one says that you will definitely get sick, but warned means armed! And this is already half the success! Later, when we had already been there, we realized that the situation with rotavirus in the country is not surprising. The culture of tourists and the cleanliness of the beaches shocked us! Actually, I already wrote about how mothers take their children to beach changing rooms to relieve themselves.

We rested in Bulgaria in September, and then, I was very worried that the child would not catch this infection.

The choice of travel agencies.

Before buying a tour in one or another travel agency do not be lazy and read reviews about it!

Compare not only prices, specify what exactly is included in the tour price! At various travel agencies, the cost of the tour includes various services. For example, tickets to our chosen villa, sold 2 travel agencies. In one, the price per tour was lower than in the other. However, we would have to pay the cost of the tour for insurance, travel fees, visas cost 65 euros per adult and 5 euros per child, 5 euros for the services of a visa center. In the second travel agency, we paid only the cost of visas of 60 euros for adults to the cost of the tour, children of Bulgaria have free visas, this travel agency does not apply to the visa center but makes them directly at the embassy. No tourist fees, insurance is already included in the price of the tour.

Be sure to find out which company will host you, read reviews about the host!

It happens that in one travel agency the price for the same tours on the same conditions is different. We had exactly the same. It turned out that the difference in the receiving side. We took a cheaper tour, which we regretted very much later. Our host was TeddyCam. They simply forgot about us on the way to the airport and we almost missed the plane. I told about this story in a review about our villa. If you doubt something, it is better to overpay and relax.

This trip was the first and last with the participation of a tour operator. And if earlier I simply assumed that this option was not for us, now I am convinced of it. I used to plan the entire vacation from "a" to "I" myself, without relying on anyone.

I cannot trust my life, health and considerable money to someone just like that. Having not found anything among the offers of travel agencies closest to my home that would satisfy me in terms of price-quality ratio, I set to work on my own. I shoveled the entire Internet, re-read a bunch of reviews and forums about various resorts and hotels, about the pitfalls of the all-inclusive system.

Going to a travel agency to buy a tour, I already clearly knew exactly where I want to go, which villa I need and even in which insurance company to buy a medical policy, and which is better to go far away.

Insurance.

Our tour price included insurance from BelGosStrakh, however, we made additional insurance for the child in another insurance company, so in Bulgaria our BelGosStrakh enjoys special “respect and love”. It is better if the insurance will have European or Russian roots.

As a daughter, we have extended insurance for group "B". For us, the main difference was that insurance covers repeated doctor’s calls during the management of the disease, or if suddenly the child becomes ill again. It costs 2-3 euros more, and soothes the nerves thoroughly.

It is better to take out insurance in euros, since the euro and dollar exchange rates differ significantly - the euro is decently more expensive. Therefore, insurance in euros will cover more costs.

The choice of direction and resort. Hotel, apartment complex or villa?

The tour operators mainly offered me huge hotels with very mediocre living conditions (a small room with old-fashioned furniture, plumbing and household appliances from the past), but a rather high rating for booking, with a system "all inclusive" . The price of such an offer ranged from 1900 to 2200 euros for three. The higher the price, the usually better food and the presence of other bonuses in the form of animation, a more frequent change of linen and towels. At the same time, we still had to pay for visas.

Firstly, a very small number of tourists leave reviews.

And the most important thing! MANDATORY see how many days tourists spent at the hotel , I was faced with the fact that many highly rated reviews were written only after a person spent a day at the hotel! Just a day! Roughly speaking, I just spent the night there. It is these reviews that make the rating of hotels!

If a different type of food - half board, or just breakfast, or just dinner, the price was not much lower from 1600 to 1800 euros.

When you heard that we will eat ourselves offered huge apartment complexes . Here you can choose the conditions for almost every taste and color. Photos of apartment complexes on the sites of all travel agencies are very attractive.

But! in this case, you should not hope that you will live in the very room that you saw in the picture. As a rule, apartments in apartment complexes are sold to completely different people, they create something like a cooperative for tourist services (cleaning, linen change, territory maintenance, pool maintenance, something like reception and so on). In fact, all apartments in the complex can be decorated and technically equipped in completely different ways. And if in the photo you have a tastefully decorated room with new furniture and sanitary ware, good household appliances, this does not mean at all that the owner of the neighboring apartment did the same.

No travel agency has offered me a villa! I don’t know what it is connected with, probably with a much lower cost.

Which resort to choose?

Initially, we planned a trip to mid-August and considered several areas for recreation:

Such resorts as Elenite and Albena, which are positioned mainly as children’s, we immediately dismissed. For it is in such "children's" places that they most often get intestinal infections.

All this is purely my conclusions based on a bunch of information read. I do not pretend to be the ultimate truth and do not say that my opinion is absolutely true.

In general, I picked up a hotel for a very long time, prepared as thoroughly as always. But, as usual, good things come to an end quickly, and all accommodation options chosen by us refused. Then my husband and I decided to postpone the trip to September, and in order to guess the weather as much as possible, we turned our attention to the southern coast of Bulgaria and chose the city of Sozopol.

Should I take "all inclusive"?

And now let's look a little into the "all inclusive" system and to whom such a ticket will be very useful, and to whom not.

Service in Bulgaria is very different from service in Turkey or Egypt, and not for the better. You should not expect the same benefits from "all" here.

As a rule, in Bulgaria the so-called "all inclusive" is included not just all! The price of the permit, as a rule, includes only food and animation, if any. Since in Bulgaria all beaches are public, the hotels do not have their own closed areas. The price of the tour does not include the use of sunbeds and umbrellas on the beach (this is only in Elenite). For this you need to pay separately. For SPA, baths, tennis courts, and other entertainment available at the hotel also have to pay extra. Although I think there are exceptions and a hotel with a real "all" can be found, the question is price.

Why didn’t I choose the all-inclusive option, despite the fact that we were traveling with a small child?

It was precisely because of the baby and the fear of infection that I did not want to go to such a place.

First and foremost: Bulgaria is famous for its worst rotaviruses.

Reading reviews and talking with acquaintances, I concluded that those who were vacationing in large hotels on an all-inclusive basis were mostly ill. In the high season, hotel canteens do not think that in hotels alike like a restaurant they can’t cope with cleaning rooms, tables and high-quality dishwashing.

In addition, I do not think that hotel cleaning takes place with the change of cleaning equipment. Imagine that 100 hotel rooms, including yours, will be cleaned with the same rag, it is good if the water is changed. It seems to me that it’s easier for a cleaning lady to clean a small villa in 20 rooms than a hundred large ones, and most likely, because of the small amount of work, she will do it better.

Since we were traveling with a small child, for me this aspect was very important. The vaccine given to my daughter at 4.5 months gave complications in the form of a convulsive syndrome, therefore we have a high risk of seizures at high temperature, I wrote about this story. That is why I was very afraid that she would get sick.

Secondly, I asked our friends about the prices of food in a cafe and concluded that for our family the price for "all inclusive" would be completely unjustified.

Our child at the time of the search for a ticket did not eat anything from the general table. My daughter ate only cereals - rice, buckwheat and oatmeal, refused meat and fish, and did not eat soups. Why should I pay for her food if she still will not eat? And where can I cook these porridges for her in a hotel with rooms without a kitchen?

We would not be able to use snacks and a bar between the main carriages, because at that time we would still be at sea. Well, do not run after them just in order to pay back the ticket price so you can run all your rest between the sea and the grub.

Power system "all inclusive" very attached to the hotel and to the time. Unfortunately, with a child you never know how the day will turn out. And if, for example, the weather is good, the child cannot be taken out of the sea, we could linger on the beach without fear that we would skip serving meals and then we would not have anything left to do.

In reviewsi read to almost every hotel that it’s better to arrive early, because then nothing normal remains. Well, what kind of vacation is this, if you need to worry all the time, so as not to be late for lunch? Or is it worth paying for all inclusive if you then eat what is left? This implies the following drawback.

In almost all all-inclusive hotels of the average price category for expensive hotels, we simply did not have money, although they do not disdain it, non-waste production system ! This is when pasta is given for breakfast, and pasta with gravy for lunch. Or, for example, in the morning there were sausages and slices of their tasteless sausages, and at lunch, tadaam - a hodgepodge. Fruit for breakfast, and compote for lunch! Well and so on, good housewives know how to cook the other from one). You do not think that they throw these products out; we have never seen garbage cans full of food.

In high season there is a terrible heat, feeding time lasts from 2 to 4 hours, depending on the hotel. Do not forget that in the heat everything spoils quickly! Dishes stand in general availability in open form, a bunch of people are pounding past them! Except I'm too squeamish for this.

Bulgaria is a gastronomic country. And limiting yourself to hotel dining food is somehow stupid!

To Bulgaria with a child. Which resort and hotel to choose? What to bring with you. Children's first aid kit. Flight with a child. Is all-inclusive really good?

When we arrived, I chatted with a friend who was relaxing in Golden Sands with her family on an all-inclusive system. She was surprised at the variety, quality, quality and beauty of serving dishes in a cafe. But even more she was surprised at pleasant prices in cafes! By the way, when we arrived, we were also very surprised how expensive it is, in comparison with Sozopol, to go to restaurants and cafes in Minsk!

How to walk in a child in a cafe, you will be surprised! Just like all the other tourists do! Bulgaria is considered a country of children's recreation and restaurateurs are doing everything possible to make tourists with children as comfortable as possible.

We have always seen a huge number of children in restaurants, and from different age categories: from birth to infinity. In almost any cafe you can go with a stroller, the aisles and table sizes allow this!

Everywhere there are highchairs. We had no problems with a two-year-old fidget! In addition, there is a cafe with children's corners - while parents indulge at the table, children jump on a trampoline or ride on a slide, swing, carousel!

The all-inclusive system will be a salvation for families with children in the amount of 2 or more, over 3 years old and a good appetite. At this age, the child himself can decide what he wants, what he loves and what not. According to the menu, it will be difficult for a child to choose a suitable dish, visually making it much easier. Plus, when you go to the cafe, the main part of the expense will be drinks that cost decent money. Beer in Bulgarian cafes and restaurants is cheaper than water.

Also, when choosing, you should take into account your individual preferences and features, if the children are choosy in food, then there is a real possibility that they will be constantly hungry. So, for example, with my girlfriend, the children couldn’t choose anything on the buffet, and they often interrupted their rest with cookies and desserts.

Thirdly, in mid-range hotels, rooms leave much to be desired! As a rule, they don’t have a large area and some crowding of furniture items - you don’t get out in general. Such numbers are rather intended only for spending the night. I can’t imagine how to live together in one small room. Especially with a small child who sleeps during the day. It turns out that in the daytime sleep the child will have to sit like mice. Yes, and especially in the night you can’t walk around! This accommodation option is suitable for people without children.

Well, the last: In large hotels, safety is almost zero!

Some people think that large hotels have their own closed territory, which no one will enter and there will be no "strangers". However, our practice has shown that the larger the hotel or apartment complex, the easier it is to go there. Nobody in any way controls the flow of incoming and outgoing. As a rule, they have several inputs and outputs that are not controlled in any way. There, simply no one knows or does not remember anyone in person. And frankly speaking to the employees, it does not matter who you are or where you are going. We ourselves have repeatedly completely freely entered both the territory of the hotels and the hotels themselves. Nobody paid any attention to us at all. In large resort areas, many hotels are open and through their territory, and pools, including some consider it their duty to plunge into the hotel pool on the way from the beach, hello rotavirus, many left tourists pass by. We saw only one isolated hotel huge complex with magnetic locks at all entrances.

As for the villas, then, here the security is at a much higher level. The territory of the villas is not large and is always fenced. Repeatedly we met code or magnetic locks on entrance gates. Owners, as a rule, know their tourists, and it is almost impossible for a stranger to go here unnoticed.

For these reasons, we were looking for a small and comfortable villa. In Sozopol there are a lot of such villas. We chose a wonderful villa Time out Villa Time Out 3 * (ex. Laguna) 3 * with excellent living conditions and later did not regret a single drop!

In the all-inclusive system, there is one huge plus: you do not need to cook and under any circumstances, the loss or waste of all money from starvation you will not die.

Baggage: stroller, potty, baby food

A very important point that interests any mother is what to bring and in what quantities, especially if you have to travel by plane.

Belavia has a baggage limit per passenger of 20 kg, you can familiarize yourself with the basic rules and rules for baggage allowance.

In addition to the established norm, each passenger is also allowed to carry for free the following things that he needs during the flight, if they are with him and are not put in baggage:

  • baby food or baby items necessary to care for a small child during the flight;
  • cell phone, camera, camcorder, portable personal computer;
  • baby travel cradle or car seat for newborns, baby folding stroller, walking stick or universal folding convertible stroller;

A children's cradle, a baby car seat for newborns, a baby folding stroller, walking stick or universal folding convertible stroller, as well as a stretcher, a wheelchair or other types of vehicles for the disabled or passengers with reduced mobility are marked with DELIVERY AT tags AIRCRAFT ”and can only be carried in the luggage compartment of the aircraft. If necessary, these things remain at the disposal of the passenger until boarding the plane. Upon arrival at the destination or transit / transfer, they are issued at the ramp when passengers leave the aircraft

About clothes I will not paint. It all depends on the age of the child and his accuracy. We scooped up a bunch of clothes for our daughter, and in the end she didn’t even wear half. The only thing I advise you to take is a set of warm clothes. Panties and a warm blouse or tutu. Evenings are very cool. For example, a strong and cold wind blew for several days.

We took a bib to our daughter and the problems with dirty clothes were minimal.

About the importance of PANAMA, I think it is unnecessary to write.

Holidays in Bulgaria with young children 2016. Which resort and hotel to choose for families with children? What to bring with you. Children's first aid kit. Flight with a child. Is all-inclusive good for families with children?

The most important topic is nutrition.

Of course the most best time to travel with a child to anywhere - this is an infant age, when a child eats only one type of food - mother's milk or a mixture. In this case, you do not have to bathe at all. It will be necessary to simply calculate how much the child needs the mixture for the period of travel, and of course not to forget about a small supply just in case.

I recommend taking maximum nutrition for your child, especially for toddlers! This applies to infant formula, cereals, canned food and possibly juices, because the local juices turned out to be rare.

Bulgaria is a European country and everything is there, but in resort places baby food is, firstly, expensive, and secondly, the choice is very meager. In Sozopol from infant formula we saw only Hip and Friso, one at a maximum of two species, and it was not always available. Cupping was only hip, with a maximum of 5 species. These were mainly multicomponent dishes. A couple of times we bought juices there and they turned out, to put it mildly, of disgusting quality.

If the baby is already eating from the general table, then you will not have problems either. In almost every cafe there is a so-called children's menu, you can always ask the waiter to make the soup thinner or less spicy. We have never had any problems in this regard.

Before traveling to Bulgaria, my daughter did not eat anything except cereals and pasta. It was just a nightmare! That’s why I took a pack of oatmeal, buckwheat and milk powder with me. But 3-4 days after arrival, my daughter began to eat everything in a row! And soups, and meat, and potatoes. Nevertheless, in spite of this, I did not regret that I took the food with me, since in the mornings I still cooked her porridge. Firstly, buckwheat is very expensive there, we ourselves ate it a couple of times for dinner with pleasure. Secondly, milk also costs a lot there, and at the same time it is exactly the same powder with huge shelf life. I have no doubt about the quality of our BelLaktovsky milk, and it was calmer for me to use it. Milk powder came to my rescue when we forgot to buy it at the store, and it was too lazy to go after it, or the stores did not work in the morning.

Diapers.

At the time of the trip, our child during the day did without diapers. We used them only for sleep. Therefore, I took diapers with me. We needed 28 diapers for 14 days, plus I put 5 more in reserve, just in case. Pampers fit perfectly on the bottom of the suitcase between the rails of the retractable handle and took up a minimal amount of space.

If the child is at such an age when diapers are used constantly, then be prepared, firstly, for more expenses, and secondly, if the child is selective in this regard, that you will have to run around and look for the usual diapers. Perhaps in resorts such as Sunny Beach and Nessebar there will be less problems, but in Sozopol the choice was very meager, and prices were not pleasing.

Stroller

Do you doubt to take a stroller with you? There is nothing to think about! Of course take it!

Do you think that the stroller will create additional inconvenience and occupy your hands too much?

You can’t even imagine how she will free them, make it easier for you to fly, shopping, excursions and walks! I can’t imagine what we would do without a stroller!

Firstly, the stroller limits the field of activity for the child. This especially helped us at the airport, in shopping centers and other shops. It is convenient to carry with you if you plan to attend any excursions.

The benefits of having a stroller on vacation:

This is only a small part of the positive aspects!

We did not go to the beach with a stroller. She was very useful to us when we went to Burgas for shopping, went for a sightseeing walk to the old Sozopol, and just for long walks in the evenings.

Pot.

This is a very important topic. All parents, the first time they leave far and for long from home, wonder about the journey of the pot!

If your child is attached exactly to your pot , and you see that without it the light will not be nice to your child even at sea, then of course take it!

But, if a child can walk on any other pot, then this is not necessary. In all major resort cities, and just resorts, there are hardware stores where you can buy a simple pot and not drag it out of the house for 3000km. In addition, you can ask your hotel about the availability of such a device. Many tourists buy pots and do not take them home. So, it is quite possible that you will be provided with a pot, and even completely free of charge. It all depends on the degree of your squeamishness.

We have repeatedly observed families with children on the beach, where the youngest child cheerfully walked towards the beach, and the oldest, just like that, cheerfully carried a pot behind him, naturally empty.

We had no problems with the pot. A couple of months before the trip, I bought a lining for the rim of the toilet home and gradually accustomed my daughter to use this simple device. And also, due to some circumstances, on the eve of the trip, my child was dragged to shopping centers, and accustomed to going to the public toilet. That's why on the trip we managed with this very patch. True, I couldn’t pack it compactly, so I took it in a bag on a plane, and before the plane she lay in our carriage, she went there after arrival

Toys

In various forums and YouTube, many have recommended taking a lot of toys with them. But here it all depends on age. If your child is still very small, and he is not particularly interested in what is happening around, maybe they will come in handy. At the time of the trip, our daughter was 2 years 3 months old and she was more worried about what was happening around. During the flight (I’ll return to him in more detail), no persuasions to pay attention to toys acted upon her.

To Bulgaria with a child. Which resort and hotel to choose? What to bring with you. Children's first aid kit. Flight with a child. Is all-inclusive really good?

I did not bother suitcases with toys. We took all the toys (and there were exactly 3) in carry-on baggage and they calmly spent the whole flight in a bag. On the adjacent seats, toddlers up to 6-8 months had fun with various singing and squealing books and toys from which, by the end of the flight, the head of the other passengers exploded.

All toys for games in the sand we bought on the spot. There they are not expensive, but a child’s joy! On each corner there were vending machines that gave out plastic eggs with funny toys inside for a lion or 2. In order not to leave all this children's wealth in Bulgaria on the way back, do not bring piles of toys from home with you and do not fill your bags with them. One way or another, but still the purchase of such trifles for a child will not pass you by.

Of course, if the children are already adults and the environment around them is not particularly worried, and the view of the sea and the beach does not cause stormy delight, then it is better to take care of children's leisure before traveling. Cards, books, board games, a tablet and a phone to help you.

Children's first-aid kit, and not only children's.

That is exactly what takes care not only of children's essentials, but also of adults. For example, I was so worried about my daughter’s medicines that I didn’t think about adults.

This is the minimum. All other drugs can be bought at the pharmacy, as needed, or they will be provided by a doctor or paid by an insurance company.

If you feel calmer and more confident with a complete first-aid kit and don’t want to rely on anyone, please take with you:

  • some light over-the-counter antibiotic of a wide spectrum of action - azithromycin, amoxicillin (I took Flemoxin-salutab), etc.
  • powders for colds like Teraflu.
  • an antiviral drug that can be stored without a refrigerator.

To take with you a huge amount of medication makes no sense. If you, God forbid, something serious happens, you will still turn to a specialist. And with scratches, indigestion and a headache, you can cope with a minimal set of medications.

If you are on an ongoing basis taking some heavy drugs of strict registration and limited leave, take care of a medical certificate or other document that indicates that these drugs are vital for you. And in case of questions at customs, you had no problems with the transportation of these drugs, as well as with the ability to take them on board the aircraft, do not forget about the restrictions on the transport of liquids on board and that baggage may be lost.

Holidays in Bulgaria with young children 2016. Which resort and hotel to choose for families with children? What to bring with you. Children's first aid kit. Flight with a child. Is all-inclusive good for families with children?

For those who fly with a child for the first time, FLIGHT seems to be the main fear and horror of the whole trip. And for those who, in principle, fly for the first time and even worse.

The airport.

You need to be at the airport 2 hours before departure, and I do not advise you to neglect this rule! And if you want to calmly walk around duty-free and even buy something there, you need to come even earlier! Do not forget, you are with a child and you won’t be able to do this quickly. The faster you go through registration, customs and passport controls, the more free time you will have left. We did not know this and were not particularly in a hurry. As a result, they ran through the dyutik, as we were already wanted by speakerphone.

I don’t know how on Russian airlines, but Belavia does not feed passengers on flights to Bulgaria! Only sweets from motion sickness, tea, coffee, water and dark chocolate. Therefore, be sure to take something with you to eat and drink for the child and yourself too. There is nothing decent and significant at our Minsk airport, except for prices.

For those who fly for the first time, the procedure at the airport:

Upon departure

  • First, check-in for the flight and handing over your suitcases in your luggage, and you can wrap suitcases at the airport. In Minsk, this service costs about $ 5 per suitcase, they wrapped it up very little. We wrapped our bags at home.
  • Then they pass customs control with hand luggage - those things that you will take with you on board (to the cabin) of the aircraft.
  • The third stage: passport control. Here you may be asked for the birth certificates of the children and the power of attorney for their export abroad from the parents (if the child flies with only one of the parents, or even without them).
  • Then you go into the waiting room, where you will need to find your entrance on board.

Upon arrival, the opposite is true: first passport control, then baggage claim, then customs control.

Minsk-Burgas

We arrived at the airport 2 hours before departure. It was quite easy to navigate. We calmly found our check-in counter and calmly went through this procedure, checked in our luggage. At a nearby counter, they watched young people repack their suitcases on the airport floor. Do not overload luggage!

Customs control went worse. If the queue for registration was ordered by dividing tapes, which at least somehow reduced the density and stretched the queue, then at the customs everyone stood in one large queue and pushed each other under the sides (such are our people).

At the airport, a stroller helped us a lot. The child did not run around the hall, he did not have to constantly search and pull. In the “trunk” of the stroller we had a lining on the toilet wrapped in a bag, a liter bottle of mineral water and a bottle with a spout-dispenser with water for the child. When passing customs control, we pulled everything out of the stroller into a special tray, examined the stroller, felt it, then asked to fold it and put not the tape of the baggage screening device. We did not make any comments about water, we did not take water.

Passport control passed quickly, calmly and civilly without rush and hustle, as at customs.

After passing through passport control, we went to the waiting room. You cannot go back after the passport. Do not forget and do not lose your things!

As soon as we went to passport control, my daughter began to insistently ask for a meal. In the waiting room, we had a wonderful view of the planes and we settled down at the window to have a bite and gawk. Yes, so carried away that they began to look for us on the speakerphone. So, we do everything quickly.

Then we were taken by bus to the plane ramp. Take blouses for the kids, and preferably a windbreaker. On the field where the planes are, it is very windy, and even in hot weather you can get sick! At the gangway, we freed the stroller from the child and other things and gave it to the loader.

If the stroller has any removable parts, it is better to remove them and take them with you. In this flight, we lost soft shoulder pads.

When we arrived in Burgas, we were taken by bus to the terminal building, there we first passed passport control, then customs (it wasn’t like that). Then we went to the baggage claim. Since the carriage was not given away from the ramp, I had to run after my daughter throughout the passport control hall and catch it among hundreds of passengers. It was a nightmare!

I really regretted not marking our bags in any way. Finding your black suitcases wrapped in kilometers of film was difficult among hundreds of them! Tag suitcases with bright ribbons or tags. Baby strollers also drove on the tape. Baggage claim tapes are signed by flight numbers.

Burgas Airport has free internet. On your phone you just need to turn on wi-fi and that's it, no dancing with tambourines! I immediately informed my relatives that we had arrived.

In the baggage claim area there is an exchanger where you can change the currency, the rate is acceptable, as well as the point of sale of the Telenor mobile operator. We bought a SIM card (a contract is being drawn up, you will need to present a passport). All this time, the baby was sitting in a stroller and staring at the bustle around. Again, the stroller helped us a lot, the child was with us all the time, did not distract our attention, I was not afraid that my daughter would be lost. Then we went into the waiting room where there were a bunch of racks with the names of travel agencies. We found our counter, identified us in a car and drove to the villa.

Burgas-Minsk

Since our meeting party took only our suitcases to the airport and forgot us, we stayed at the Burgas airport for 10 minutes at most - this is from check-in to boarding.

The whole procedure takes place as at departure, only in the reverse order. We passed registration, customs and passport control in 7 minutes.

Oversized baggage (we had 2 huge umbrellas) is rented separately.

The customs control in Burgas is somewhat different from the customs control in Minsk. In Burgas, we were asked to sort hand luggage and put food for a child (this includes water intended for a child), water (excess liquids were confiscated), electronics, metal objects and other things in different trays. The stroller was inspected and laid on the tape. Then we went through passport control. And then they fled running to look for an exit to the plane. At the finish line (at the exit to the airfield to the bus) a support group was waiting for us in the form of 3 airport workers who encouraged and hastened us with gestures. There was a feeling that we were handing over the most important 100 meter life.

On the way back we wrapped our suitcases with the film we carried with us. And I did not regret even a bit that we took a skein of film with us!

Firstly, in Burgas this pleasure costs 5 euros. Secondly, in such a hurry, we would simply not have time to wind them up at the airport. Thirdly, in Minsk, I saw how someone's things were traveling in separate trays on the baggage claim - a terrible picture! At that moment, I was very glad that we had taken care of the film for the suitcases in advance. Fourthly, in Sozopol we simply did not find a film for sale.

Upon arrival in Minsk, baby carriages were issued at the gangway. In Minsk, we waited a very long time for luggage - about 30 minutes. Oversize was exported only after an hour!

After receiving the baggage we passed through customs control. There was no customs control as such, the customs officer simply asked what and in what quantities we were transporting. And that’s all!

Flight with a child

In fact, it’s not as scary as everyone thinks! The flight lasts a total of approximately 1 hour. 35min - 1h 40min.

Children under 2 years old fly for free in the hands of their parents and they are not provided with a place, or you can buy it at your request. Children over 2 years old fly in their seat.

Holidays in Bulgaria with young children 2016. Which resort and hotel to choose for families with children? What to bring with you. Children's first aid kit. Flight with a child. Is all-inclusive good for families with children?

The worst thing about a flight is takeoff and landing, they last from about 20 to 30 minutes, as you are lucky. When the altitude changes sharply, the pressure changes sharply, the ears of the passengers of the aircraft. This is the worst thing on the plane, where there are a lot of children! For everyone begins to yell wildly in unison! You can give a bottle or a breast to a baby, and it’s very difficult for children aged one and a half to two years to explain why they need to swallow, drink or chew, especially when their ears are sore! You just need to go through these 30 minutes of wild ora and pray that you would be lucky with the weather and the crew.

During take-off and landing, all passengers must wear a seat belt, including children. Stuarts are fastened to babies by special belts for mothers, children from two years old are fastened with an ordinary belt in their chair, or, if desired, you can fasten the child to the parent.

For our child, sitting fastened was a terrible torture. She wriggled all over and ripped out of the belt and no persuasion and attempts to distract did not help.

When flying to Burgas, the plane was half empty, there were few children. The take-off in Minsk was tolerant without screaming, a small one was fastened to her husband and she calmly suffered a take-off.

The flight was relatively calm and tolerant. Almost immediately after they were allowed to unfasten their belts, the Stuarts began to deliver tea and coffee. There is very little free time left, about 20-30min. Mala was interested to look out the window. In an unfamiliar and new environment, the child behaved calmly and calmly.

The landing in Burgas was delayed, the child went crazy from ear pain - no persuasion to drink and eat did not help. The daughter howled and rang from discomfort all 20 minutes of decline and until that moment until she was unfastened.

But the flight from Burgas to Minsk was just awful. The plane was packed to the limit, there were a lot of children. On each row up to 4 kids. Take-off and landing dragged on to 30-35 minutes. All the children screamed terribly. It was just a nightmare! At first they shouted in unison during take-off, then all the time during the flight there was a constant noise-squeal-squeal from musical toys. When boarding, the children shouted even louder than when taking off. In Minsk, we were given a gangway for another 15 minutes. In general, this is just a nightmare! Before the flight, it is better to take a sedative, and to both children and parents, to take courage and wait out this nightmare. The benefit of the strollers was given at the gangway.

Despite the fact that the child is an adult and himself goes to the toilet, I was safe and during the days of the transfer I put on the baby a diaper just in case. The toilet on the plane is very compact, but if you want to go there with your child it will not be difficult. We, fortunately, did not need a toilet during the flight, we managed to do everything at the airport.

In general, the flight is short, there is not much free time and it will not be difficult to occupy the baby. The worst thing is take-off and landing.

And now about Bulgaria itself and why we won’t go there anymore.

The country itself and its nature did not impress me or her husband. Perhaps this is because we were there at the end of summer and as such did not find beautiful nature, but in Sevastopol we all the time rested in early September. Crimean nature, we liked nature more. The sea and beaches of Sozopol left an indelible nightmare impression. In general, it remained unclear to me why people are so eager to come here, and even pay such money! For ourselves, we made a clear conclusion that Bulgaria is absolutely not worth the money.

The response was huge and a little messy. Thank you for mastering this opus! I hope it will be useful to you.

Hotels for babies

In a calm European country, tourists can not worry about personal safety. Many resorts are isolated from settlements. Resorts such as Albena, Duni, Elenite are located in a closed zone with limited access to the territory. Each hotel has its own security service that guarantees your safety throughout your stay.
The Bulgarian resorts have a huge selection of hotels and apart-hotels of various categories for families, many on the first beach line. We will select the appropriate accommodation options: cozy studios or family rooms, apartments or double rooms with extra bed, a small armchair bed or sofa bed. Sometimes the rooms have a full third bed, as in the Hotel Compass Garden 3 * in Albena. For the smallest, you can always get a cot, this service is provided for free or at an additional cost. For an additional fee, hotels offer professional babysitting services.

The mild climate and warm sea, sea air and fresh fruits will help strengthen the health of your children. Be sure to try in the summer ripe vegetables and juicy fruits, which have gathered all the strength of the tender Bulgarian sun. Many hotels have a special menu based on only quality products. Your child will be served the most delicious dishes, without spicy spices and strong roasting, and side dishes and desserts will be not only tasty, but also healthy. If you wish, you yourself can prepare something tasty, as many studios and apartments are equipped with small, fully equipped kitchens.

Entertainment

In hotels with a club and animation with a child, professional animators will be engaged, who will not leave him alone for a minute. One of the best animations is represented by the 4 * Longosa hotel in the resort of Sunny Beach, and this hotel is also known for its excellent combination of price and quality. Thanks to the fun animators, many families come back here again and again. All day they draw, read, sculpt from clay, play interesting outdoor games that develop imagination. Sometimes they arrange real discos for teens. Some hotels have entire children's programs, for example, in Golden Sands, a unique Kids & Co program has been developed. This includes various art classes, mini-bowling and basketball, special mini-disco. And in the hotel on Golden Sands there is a program "". While mothers relax in the spa or do fitness, babies can chat with their peers or swim in the pool, of course, under the supervision of adults.
Most hotels of the 5 *, 4 * and 3 * category have a children's pool or a separate section in the adult pool, special playgrounds for kids, mini-water parks or water slides.
A perfect example of a hotel in Golden Sands. Resorts with large modern water parks and amusement parks: Albena, Golden Sands, Sunny Beach, Nessebar, Elenite. In Albena and Dune there is a horse base where you can ride ina little ponies, and also learn how to care for them.
Beautiful well-groomed green area, such as in the hotels Sol Nessebar Palace 5 * and Sol Nessebar Mare 4 *, in Nessebar. Children can play, have fun even in the hottest time of the day, the shadows of the trees will carefully preserve their delicate skin.
